Founder and Owner, Tiller Care Strategies, an adult and geriatric care management firm, since 2004. She earned her BA in Communication in 1982 from Boise State University and her MA in Counseling Psychology in 1985 from Gonzaga University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (License # LH00006116), Mental Health Professional and a Geriatric Mental Health Specialist. Becky has worked with adults and elders in the Spokane area since 1985. Prior to her work in care management, she was Assistant Director for Holy Family Adult Day Centers (now Providence Adult Day Health) for 12 years. Becky served as a Board Member and President of the Inland NW Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association from 1989-1995. Here she developed and facilitated caregiver support groups for over 20 years including a Male Caregiver Support Group and an Early Stage Support Group (per group direction, renamed “The Brainiacs”) for individuals with dementia and their partners. She is a past member of Holy Family Hospital’s (now Providence Holy Family Hospital) Ethics Committee and the hospital’s End of Life Committee. She served on the Northwest Collaborative Care Board of Directors. And she served on the Board of Directors for the Inland Northwest Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners for two terms.
Social Worker, with Tiller Care Strategies since 2008. Beth graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2008 with a Bachelors in Social Work. She developed her interest in working with the senior population while doing her practicum at Providence Adult Day Health. Prior to returning to college in her thirties, Beth was a server at a locally owned restaurant. As a people person, this was a good fit. In her search for a new career, social work was a perfect follow-up. Beth volunteers as a support group facilitator for the local Alzheimer’s Association and for a local hospice. Beth is married and has two daughters, two dogs, a cat, and a pond full of fish. She also likes to read and garden.
Registered Nurse, with Tiller Care Strategies
since 2014. Maisie brings nearly 20 years of nursing experience
to TCS. She is a graduate of Carroll College (BS Accounting)
and Washington State University (BS Nursing). Her experience
includes previous public accounting (in a prior career as a CPA),
public health, geriatric care, case management, and skilled
nursing. She's worked with various organizations in a nursing
capacity, including Spokane County, Touchmark, the Sinsinawa
Dominicans, and the Gonzaga University Jesuits. Maisie is also
an active volunteer in her community currently working with the
Spokane Police Department. Maisie was awarded the Red Cross
Hero Award in 2016. Maisie is a native Montanan who now lives in
Spokane, WA with her husband, Greg and their two children,
Abby and Luke. She enjoys reading and spending time in the
outdoors with family and friends.
Bookkeeper, is owner of Paradise
Billing Services. Mallory has expertly handled billing and
bookkeeping for TCS since 2005. She is Tiller Care’s QuickBooks
guru.
Mentor, cheerleader and promoter for the Tiller Care Team. Gail is Author of Coming of Age with Aging Parents: The Bungles, Battles and Blessings. She and her husband, John Goeller, started what is now known as the INW Senior Resource Guide. She gained her expertise while tending to her aging family of five along with her husband, John. Most recently Gail cared for John, diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease. This prompted them to start the first support group in Spokane for people with a dementing illness and their partners. The group titled “The Brainiacs” continues today. With a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Sciences and a sixteen-year career in organizational development, Gail has a deep appreciation for human interactions.
